JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Head of Web Development is responsible for leading the development practice, and the quality delivery of Wonderist Agency’s web development work. The Head of Web is responsible for defining development standards and processes, and for technical oversight and implementation of client websites and web related projects as well as the management of the team. We build exclusively on Webflow, but Webflow experience is not required for the role, however management experience is.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Lead all aspects of web design, web development, and QA for our website projects, as well as our customer facing website and other miscellaneous web development efforts (e.g. marketing, tools, etc)
• Drive overall technical roadmaps and strategy related to web development efforts
• Serving as liaison and primary point of contact for cross-functional internal teams; evaluate, prioritize, develop, manage, implement and test web development activities
• Maintain and develop a competent, productive and quality-conscious content managers.
• They also develop and implement processes through orientation, training and education to ensure that the competency of all staff members are assessed, maintained, improved and demonstrated throughout their employment

CORE COMPETENCIES:

• Exceptional knowledge of marketing, sales, & development processes
• Strong project management, problem-solving, & analytical thinking skills
• Ability to develop strong relationships with and work cross functionally with senior level managers and team members.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced skill with CMS platforms, specifically Webflow and Wordpress.
• Strong knowledge of hosting and DNS management
• Takes Pride In Work: We need someone who takes any project, big or small, and puts everything they have into it. Mistakes are okay. Sloppiness is not.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• 4+ years of marketing or agency experience
• A passion for helping clients and small businesses succeed
