We believe that a happy team lets us do our best work. That’s why we put culture first. Wonderist culture is supported by four main pillars: Health, Giving Back, Professional Development, and of course, Having Fun.Meet the wonder buddies
We offer health insurance to all our employees. In addition, we offer a 40% discount to Point Loma Sports Club and prioritize fun healthy team activities every month.
Yup, you read that right. All of our full-time employees get unlimited paid vacation. We love to travel and see the world, and we know cool people like you do, too. Enjoy!
We love our four-legged friends. We usually have at least four dogs at the office that love to remind us to take a break and play!
We are steps away from Liberty Station where we get to enjoy lunch at the Public Market, Stone Brewing, Moniker General Coffee Shop, and much more.
We know you're talented, and we'll make sure you're well-compensated for your efforts. Expect competitive offers to help you live your best life.
Helping our team have financially secure futures is something we're passionate about. We not only offer 401k and Roth options, but we'll match up to 3%.
A huge part of building team morale is simply enjoying each other's company. When we're not killing it on projects, we have regular social events and happy hours that you're welcome to join.
Who doesn't love snacks! From fresh fruit and energy bars to chips and candy, we cater to the team's tastes to satiate those 3 pm cravings.
Whether you prefer to stand, sit, or crouch – or literally anything in between – we have desks that support you in any position you choose to work.
Need a caffeine or probiotic boost? We have cold brew and kombucha on tap. It's refilled as needed, so knock yourself out.
Wonderist Agency was started by Laura Maly at a kitchen table in Los Angeles as a small, one-woman marketing consulting group. Two years later, it got wings when Michael joined the team, and a full-service dental marketing agency was born. Since then, Wonderist Agency has been dedicated to providing data-driven results and personalized design in a marketing landscape that is all too often cookie cutter or old school. We’ve come a long way since the kitchen table, with an 8,000 square foot office in San Diego that serves clients all across the country.
Nestled in San Diego’s Point Loma neighborhood, our office has all the startup cliches, from exposed ductwork and reclaimed wood walls, to a ping-pong table and a beer fridge. A far cry from cubicle farms, our space is open and inviting. We want our team to be happy to come to work, so we’ve designed a beautiful space that maximizes creativity and comfort. But that’s not what makes our office so cool. Our office is always buzzing with creative ideas and a culture where we challenge each other to be the best.
Our office is steps away from the thriving bars, restaurants, and coffee shops of Liberty Station. Our team loves to walk to the Public Market to try one of the many lunchtime vendors, or to work remotely from Moniker General. After work, it’s not uncommon to find us playing pool at our favorite dive bar, Desi’s, or sipping craft beer at Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens.
In addition to offering our employee’s health insurance, we also offer a 40% discount to Point Loma Sports Club. And we don’t stop there. From Walk Club and team hikes, to pick-up ultimate frisbee and golf outings, we want ensure we’re healthy, active and outside. This is Southern California after all.
Don’t let Walter’s expression fool you. We are blessed to have a thriving team, and that means we have a great opportunity to give back. We continuously donate our time to support causes like the San Diego Dental Health Foundation as well as participate in opportunities to support under-privileged kids, like holiday gift-giving. Being active in our community gives us a chance to do some feel-good work for people who really need it.
What’s amazing about our team is that they never seem to want to stop learning about their craft, or expanding other skills. It’s not uncommon to find a copywriter in a design meeting, or for a web team member to transition to account management. We support growth, diverse interests, and we always push ourselves to be at the top of our game. That’s why we host in-office lunch-and-learns and attend local meet-ups on the marketing niches that interest us the most.
