Dr. Messenger embarked on the branding journey with Wonderist as one of her initial steps toward opening her own scratch practice. Situated in Durham, NC, Dr. Messenger wanted her practice to appeal to the area’s diverse population, which spans for university researchers to families rooted in the area for generations. Wonderist helped her create a unique brand that welcomes all Durham residents while communicating the advanced, cutting-edge care her practice offers.
Dr. Jean came to Wonderist with a vision to create a modern and luxurious brand that would appeal to the diverse patient base of his South Florida practice. He initially presented a logo concept that incorporated the mirror in light gold colors. While the concept conveyed luxury, we sought to infuse it with a more approachable tone. By selecting a rounded typography treatment, softening the illustration style with softer edges and wavy details, and picking relaxing mint and coral colors that represented the trees and sandy beaches of Florida’s natural environment, Wonderist was able to expand Dr. Jean’s initial vision to appeal to his wide range of patients in the Margate, Coral Springs, and Coconut Creek communities.

Dr. Alzayat came to Wonderist with a fresh slate. His initial feedback of generally requesting a modern, playful logo and enjoying nature left us with a large scope to narrow down. After our initial exploration round, we were able to present an idea in R2 that Dr. Alzayat felt personally connected to: a family of “thumbprint trees.” An added bonus to this selection was that it happened to feature the colors of his son’s baby shower, and the trio of trees seemed to symbolize him, his son, and his wife. The logo has instantly become an office favorite, and the experience led to Dr. Alzayat leaving us a five-star review!
